As an independent contractor, I used one car for Uber and Grubhub. How do I enter the mileage and expenses

I am not sure how to properly enter the mileage and expenses. I do not want to duplicate my entries/deductions

My suggestion would be to enter all of your income and expenses for both Uber and GrubHub on the same Schedule C.  Essentially you are providing a driving service for both, the difference being that with one you are driving people to their destination and the other you are driving a package to its destination.

Either way you are working as an independent contractor using the same assets for the business.  This would simplify your recordkeeping and allow you to branch out to provide service to other similar businesses as well.

But I just read from Turbo Tax that IRRS requires 2 different businesses should have their income, expenses entered separately...
