Are we able to file jointly? we live in Oregon and have been together for 8 years. we own a house and are both on the title, bills etc.

If you were married at the end of the year, you can claim the married filing joint status.

Generally, the filing status on your Oregon return must be the same as on your federal return -- see "Filing Status" on page 18 of Publication OR-17, Individual Income Tax Guide.
