Yes, if you're a W-2 employee, you can deduct an expense for uniforms (post-tax) as an employee business expense on Schedule A.

But since it's an itemized deduction, you'll only get it if you can itemize.  If your standard deduction is larger than all your itemized deductions, then you won't gain anything.  TurboTax will make that calculation for you.

In TurboTax Deluxe, you'll enter the uniform expense by clicking on the Federal Taxes tab, then Deductions & Credits, then scroll down to Employment Expenses, then select Job-Related Expenses and follow the prompts.
