Are they approving refunds that have the earn income tax credit or additional child tax credit before the 15 of February or after the 15th?

Where’s My Refund? on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go phone app will be updated with projected deposit dates for early EITC / ACTC refund filers on February 17. These taxpayers will not see a refund date on Where’s My Refund? or through their software packages until then. The IRS, tax preparers and tax software will not have additional information on refund dates, so Where’s My Refund? remains the best way to check the status of a refund

According to the IRS, those refunds will not be released until after the 15th.

Yes I kno they are not issuing refunds until after the 15 but are they already approving them before the 15th

Thank you because my status still says return received and I filed January 31 and it has not been approved yet.  I was thinking something was wrong.
