There aren't unusual tax breaks for this situation, but the software will give you all of the deductions that you qualify for. Be sure to enter all of your contractor expenses and any unreimbursed employee job expenses.

Under your self-employed business, everything you spend to earn the income, is deductible.  Be sure to go through all the expenses under your self-employed business (below the income section).

While it's uncommon to get a tax benefit, you should enter all employee job expenses that are unreimbursed. Under Deductions & credits > scroll down to Employment ExpensesJob-Related Expenses
