Are donations still eligible to deduct on State tax?

If I'm taking standard deduction on the Federal Tax form, can I still
deduct donations that I made on the State Tax form?

Are donations still eligible to deduct on State tax?

Yes, if you itemize (or the donations are otherwise deductible) on your state return.

If you're taking the standard deduction on your federal return, make sure that you input all charitable donations in the federal portion of the TurboTax program, anyway.

Then, if your state allows deductions for these donations, and you're not required to claim the standard deduction on your state return, these donation amounts will flow over to your state return.
