AOTC after graduating in 3 years

I graduated in 3 years (fall 2021 to spring 2024), in which I wanted to know if I am still eligible for the AOTC. I know I am good in terms that I have not claimed it 4 times yet, but part of the requirement is to be pursuing a degree or other recognized education credential, however I technically no longer am pursuing a degree since I graduated. Just to confirm, is the part about pursuing a degree in reference to that respective tax year, or do I still need to be considered a college student (even now) to qualify for the AOTC?

AOTC after graduating in 3 years

Yes, you are eligible for the AOTC. You would need to be enrolled in at least one academic semester during the applicable tax year, 2024 in this case. ‌Since you attended college in Spring of 2024, you meet that requirement.
