Where do I deduct annual premiums for long term health care?

I cannot find the "My account" in upper right hand corner to get to "insurance Premiums" area. Where is it?

Where do I deduct annual premiums for long term health care?

Annual premiums for long term health care plans are deducted in the Medical section under Deductions and Credits. This is an itemized deduction on schedule A.

  • Sign into your account and select the 'take me to my return' button.
  • Type 'schedule a' in the search box of your open return, then select the 'jump to' link.

You will land in the medical section beginning with prescription expenses. Continue several pages until reaching the insurance premium page and enter your premium amounts.
