Mortgage Point Deduction on 1040
Where do I look at past tax returns (non-turbo tax) to determine if I took the points deduction when we refinanced?

Mortgage Point Deduction on 1040
Amortized points on a refinance would be listed on schedule A line 12 if prepared correctly.
But depending on the preparer ,you might find them included on line 10 with your 1098 mortgage interest. Look to any supporting worksheets that the preparer may have included to support the schedule A deductions.
