This amount doesn't get entered in the W-2 section.
Here is how to navigate to make the entry:

Hi MindyB, thanks, yes, I know that the HSA contributions screen is supposed to come up in the HSA interview section, not the W2 section, what I'm saying is, that screen you describe in the HSA section never appears. After some research, old TurboTax advice was to reset your HSA section by deleting all the information and, if necessary, manually entering your W2 to ensure accuracy. I did that. Despite trying everything, I still cannot get it to offer that "Let's enter Sarah's contributions" screen.
When I choose Deductions and Credits, I see this Tax Breaks summary, which has no entry for HSA contributions for 2025, I click on the edit screen.
When I click "Edit" next to HSA, MSA Contributions, I get these screens:
The next screen I get is this summary screen, which doesn't even have a line for employee contributions, whether or not they were made via payroll and therefore captured on my W2. I had both payroll contributions and non-payroll contributions in 2025.
So please tell me: How can I correct this so my HSA contributions are captured ? Thank you!
I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

Hi MindyB, I appreciate it, thank you. My token number is 1332965.
Thank you!
Sarah
I have reviewed your tax return using the token number. I was able to generate an HSA contribution personally made. Please follow these steps.
In TurboTax Online, return to My Info and answer the questions about the taxpayer, spouse and dependent children. Under the spouse, add an occupation and state of residence.
Make sure that married filing jointly has been selected.
Select Federal then Deductions & Credits.
Scroll down to 1099-SA, HSA, MSA. Click to the right.
Continue to the screen Select the health-related accounts you had in 2025. Select the health-related account you had in 2025, both TP and SP should now be listed. Select Health Savings Account for the second taxpayer.
At the screen Let’s enter XX HSA contributions, contributions personally made are available.
Your HSA Summary will reflect the contributions personally made.
Follow these steps to view your income tax return.
Contact me if you have questions.
Hi, that doesn’t work for me because I don’t want to file jointly with my spouse. We live in separate states and file separately; I support my children in my household and file as head of household. This should not prevent me from claiming my HSA Contributions. Can you help me figure out how to do that while still filing as head of household?
