After comparing the tax implication for foreign tax credit vs. deduction, I chose to take the deduction. TurboTax still shows $1 in foreign tax credit, in form 1116.

I believe this is Turbo Tax bug, that it couldn't complete remove all the fields in foreign tax credit, and enters $1. Because I am taking deduction for foreign tax, I should not file 1116. Is there anyway to remove this from my tax return?

I just found out there was fractional dollar amount of foreign tax paid in one other account. That explains it. It's not a bug.
