AdvPaymentQualChildrenSP must be entered.

Hi, I'm filing my taxes for 2021 and I had a kid this year. I didn't receive any tax credit yet and I indicated as such nor did I receive a Letter 6419; however, when I complete my Federal taxes and it goes to Federal Review, it tells me I have 1 detail to review. It takes me Schedule 8812 form where it says AdvPaymentQualChildrenSP must be entered or Qualifying Children. Why is it asking me this, I said I didn't take payments, I didn't get a letter 6419. Should I put 0 and move? Thanks.

AdvPaymentQualChildrenSP must be entered.

If you did not receive any advance child tax credit, you should answer 0, so that you can receive the full child tax credit of $3,600 on your tax return.

For your child born in 2021, please make sure that in the Personal Info section of TurboTax, you indicate that the child lived with you the WHOLE YEAR.
