Advance Child tax credit

I received $1800.00 in Advance Child credit in 2021 and the dependent I received it for is being claimed this year by their other parent. I only made $7400. Will I have to pay the $1800.00 back?

If your income was only $7400 you will not have to pay the advanced child tax credit back.

No.  If you qualify for the repayment protection described in this Topic H, you will be excused from repaying some or all of the excess amount.    And since you made under $80k, you will qualify for the repayment protection.
