I am working on the Residential Energy Credit form 5695 and believe there is a bug.
I have entered the information (QMID and cost) in the worksheet 29c. This does propagate line 29c of the form correctly and line 29g is also showing the correct total cost.
HOWEVER - line 29h, which is supposed to be line 29g x 30% is showing $0 (as is line 30) instead of the expected amount.
Using TTax Premier, originally entered data in step-by-step; am verifying the data in the forms.

I am seeing the same problem. I am on hold with Turbo Tax. Hopefully I will get an answer.
I spent 30 minutes with Turbo Tax rep. He agreed it was a problem. He had me right click on 29h and manually change the value to 30% of line 29g.
I did try an "override", but then got an error during "error check" telling me I shouldn't override that entry.
I will call again today and see if I can get an answer as to why I have to override. Seems like a bug that needs to be fixed.
I have the same issue!!!
I spoke with a "manager" and they indicated it is a known issue and they are working to fix it. No time line as to when. In google searches I've seen a turbo tax update is supposed to come out on March 6 so hopefully then.
very frustrating that this bug exists ... I spent 2 hrs to enter data in all possible ways ...
TurboTax sucks
This bug is fixed now ... yay TT team!
