2025 Charity entry does not show in summary list for deductions. Initially it showed Available soon and prevented entry. It now shows Available now - but entered amount does not show. Looking to 2024 comment - there was the exact same issue.

You're not alone. I started a similar thread on this bug. Mods suggested the 1/22 update would fix it, but it didn't.
Make sure you went all the way through the Charitable Donations section until you see the summary page.
You should then see the amount you entered on the Deductions & Credits page.

Today's update 1/26/2025 did not fix it for me. Still shows only "Available now" even though clicking on update shows a total for Charities.
I went in and out of Turbotax and deleted the Charities, and after complete restart, I re-entered. Still a no go - still get "Available now" I am using the local download version - not the Cloud version.
The ''Available Now'' showing instead of the amount for charitable contributions is a known issue and is being worked on. Check back on Friday as updates are done on Thursday night. If you need Form 8283, it tentatively scheduled after 01/28.
The same issue for "State and Local Tax Refunds on Form 1099-G" Shows "Available now" even though information in Update. Hopefully this gets fixed too. All other items I am using are good.
Still not fixed with the 1/29/2026 update.
That is probably just a display issue on the Income Topics summary page and doesn't affect your return.
If you're using Turbo Tax Desktop, in FORMS you can see your Charitable Contributions Worksheet to confirm.
If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies, and when you re-open it, the display should update.
@MarilynG1 MarilynG1 - I think the problem goes deeper than you believe because when I get to the "Here are your 2024 and 2025 deductions and credits" page, all the itemized dectionsw are listed as zeros for 2025, while I've always itemized in past years.
Thank you for reporting your experience. We are currently investigating the issue and will provide updates as soon as possible.
