2017 Property Tax actually paid in 2018 - deduction?

I technically have until 1/5/18 to pay my 2017 property tax.  I won't have the funds until a day or two before then.  No funds in 2017 to make the payment.  Will I be able to deduct the payment on my 2017 taxes even though I will technically make the payment and it will clear my bank in 2018?
