1099 Div Errors

I have the red "!" on (2) 1099 Div entries in the Forms section of my TTax 2024 return.  One of the 1099s highlighted the address area.  I entered my address but could not enter the country or the entry that it doesn't matter.  So far that is the only highlighted area.  Is there a way around the address problem or is there somewhere else on the form that needs updating?

The other 1099 Div problem wants something entered for state.  This Div info was downloaded from a brokerage site.  Checking last year, I found that "NY" was entered.  Since I have not knowingly changed anything, I am thinking of using "NY" again.  Any thoughts on that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

1099 Div Errors

you can leave the payer's and your address sections completely blank. Also, the payer's TIN is not required.

Are you suggesting that I remove what is there and that may remove the error indicator?

1099 Div Errors

I did as you suggested but wound up with the error message still.  Below is what I am seeing without the edits.  After removing the City State and Zip all of this section is in "pink" and still the error symbol.

1099 Div Errors

I ultimately found out that the problem existed due to the fact that the downloaded file from my brokerage did not adequately fill out the 1099 form.  Stepping through the TTax topic process I found where some entries were missing so once entered as required my problem went away!

Thanks to all that participated.  My returns have been efiled and accepted (so far) by both state and feds.  Consider this matter closed!
