$0 Refund - No Matter What I Seem to Do

For the first time in over 10years I have used TurboTax, it has shown $0 at top left the entire time -- I entered by W2 --- showed $0.  Added some real estate tax and mortgage interest.  Still $0.  Just downloaded several brokerage statements.  Still $0.  Have NEVER seen this before.  I have closed and re-opened my file --- still $0.  What is going on - I am certain this is incorrect.  Thank you in advance for any insight you may provide!

It is possible that is correct, if you didn't have any federal tax withheld.

You should check box 2 on your W-2 form. If that is blank or $0, it may just be that didn't have any tax withheld and you haven't entered any credits that are refundable.

If box 2 has a number greater than $0, you should review your W2 entries for accuracy.

My main point is that it was zero all along no matter what I entered.  I deleted the file figuring it was corrupt and started over and it is now working.  There is some weird

bug that allowed me to enter w2 and other income as well as some deductions without the fed tax due number ever updating off $0. Bizarre.
