If I'm filing state only, how do I get the return to reflect state taxes already deducted as shown on the w-2, which it should, but doesn't?

Have you already filed Federal using TT?  You cannot do just State here.

You can prepare your federal return and not file it in order to get your state return completed. You cannot prepare your state return without doing so. You will also need to mail your state return as e-file is only an option when filing a federal return also.
