If all your work is done in your home state of WY, you do not owe VA tax just because your employer is based there.

You will need to file your federal tax return just as written on your form W2. You will file a VA Non-Resident Tax return to receive a full refund if Box 17 has taxes withheld and paid to that state;.

Yes, Box 15 should be WY, but you need to change it with your Human Resource office, not on your tax return.
