I am using the desktop PC version of Turbotax. I see messages that suggest that the online version of the software is not working correctly, however I am having the same problem in the Desktop version. Will it also be updated/corrected soon? Currently, all the instructions are there, but it does not show up as an option in the "Retirement Benefits Adjustments" section!

In TurboTax Desktop Deluxe, I am able to generate 'Federal retirement benefits' subtraction from income on line 14 of Wisconsin Schedule SB.
Wisconsin Form 1 line 6 reflects a 'subtraction from income'.
The entry was entered at the screen Here's the income that Wisconsin handles differently. Click Start/Edit to the right of Retirement Benefits Adjustment.
Wisconsin Department of Revenue website explains Individual taxpayer retirement features.
OK, but that's not what I need. I need to enter something for line 16, "Retirement income subtraction" and there is no place for that after you click on the "edit button to the right of "Retirement Benefits Adjustment" under "Here's the income that Wisconsin handles differently"! There is no place indicated to enter that!!
In TurboTax Desktop Deluxe, I am able to generate a Retirement income subtraction (credits restricted) on line 16 of the Wisconsin Schedule SB.
I am also able to generate a subtraction on line 6 of the Wisconsin form 1.
In the Wisconsin state income tax return, at the screen Retirement Benefits Adjustments, I make no entry.
At the screen Wisconsin Retirement Income Subtraction (Credit Restricted), I selected Yes.
At the screen Subtract Wisconsin Retirement Income, I selected Yes.
At the screen Here's the income that Wisconsin handles differently, it reports the Retirement Benefits Adjustment.
The Wisconsin Retirement Income Subtraction (credits restricted) on line 16 may be found here.
There is a new issue with the Wisconsin retirement income exclusion. I tried to efile my WI return with TurboTax desktop version (after updating it), and the return was rejected with error code "TY25_WI_Retirement_V2_Narrow "
Now TurboTax says yet another WI update will be issued on 2/26/2026 - WHY CAN'T THEY FIX THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL??!!
