You appear as a North Carolina Non-Resident because the state uses the same forms and schedules for Part-Year and Non-Residents. The title of which begins with Non-Residents.
You are not a full year resident, rather a part year resident of North Carolina. As such, your tax forms are the same as a non-resident.
