this is my second attempt to an answer to this question.
1) Why is turbo tax indicating a state income tax due when I am over 65 years of age?
Note: all my income is from 401K, 1099R. No w-2s
2) If a tax is proper and due, please explain.
3) If not proper or due, how do I get it corrected?
4) Please do not refer me back to the state of ga web page.

Age does not impact if you have to pay Federal income tax. It can however be lower when you are 65 or older due to additional deductions.
We cannot see your return, so I cannot tell how much income you do have.
Now for State of GA Income Tax: (You need to go back to the Federal Section and EDIT the 1099R's and make sure these show as GA income, and then $65,000 will be exempted per statement below.
It does not tax Social Security and provides a deduction of $65,000 per person on all types of retirement income for anyone over the age of 64. Meanwhile, the state's sales tax rate and property tax rate are both relatively moderate.

All right, let's try this again now that I have a little more information from you.
Georgia does indeed have an exclusion for those over 65, up to $65,000. If you file married filing jointly, you can both qualify for this exclusion, but you must qualify separately.
