If you did not have any income from your new state, then you do not need to file a return for it. TurboTax bases the decision for what states you need to file on your answer that you lived in another state in your personal info. You can change your answer there, or just delete the unnecessary state from your filing.
To change your answer, return to "My Info" in your Federal return and review your data entry. In the Personal Info Summary of the "My Info" section, TurboTax asks if you lived in another state. If you have answered this question Yes,TurboTax treats you as if you were a part-year resident two states. The software will ask you for the dates you were the resident of another state.
