I'm not sure why the other return is being populated, but you can delete it if it does not apply to you.

Yes I’m in a partnership that paid the State tax (only $126) on my behalf so I wouldn’t have to file a state tax return.

Thx. I did delete it in the process of going to State tax. But it pops back up when I enter State section. Albeit I have not downloaded the subject state it’s irritating to show it on the screen. Also it’s listed on the Efile page as optional for efile. I would prefer to get rid of any references to that state.
