Where do I enter the piano lessons for my kids as a child education credit for the state of MN taxes? I have gone through the state tax section five times- no luck.

Where do I enter the piano lessons for my kids as a child education credit for the state of MN taxes? I have gone through the state tax section five times- no luck.
According to the MN department of revenue, piano lessons do not qualify for the child education credit.

Where do I enter the piano lessons for my kids as a child education credit for the state of MN taxes? I have gone through the state tax section five times- no luck.
This answer may be variable depending on whether the lessons relate to a for-credit band or choral class. It seems a gray area in the listing of prohibited expenses (see bullets 9 and 14). A suggestion to check other sources or call a state expert directly.
Expenses That Don’t Qualify
The following expenses don’t qualify for K-12 Education Subtraction or Credit:
1 School lunches or meals
2 School uniforms (including band uniforms, choir robes, dance costumes and graduation robes)
3 Monthly Internet access fees
4 Books and materials used in any extra-curricular activities or sporting events
5 Books, materials or instruction used in teaching religious beliefs
6 Clothing for school (except for clothing required for gym class)
7 Kleenex
8 Backpacks
9 Nonacademic programs such as sports camps, lessons, or equipment such as martial arts classes, dance line, baseball camp and others
10 Transportation expenses for extra-curricular activities or programs outside the normal school day
11 Cost of driving the child or the child driving him- or herself to school
12 Expenses for pre-kindergarten classes and nursery schools
13 Expenses for classes after the student has left high school
14 Participation fees for club activities, extracurricular activities and sporting activity such as pep band, marching band, and coaching
15 Room and board
16 Fees for extracurricular academic instruction provided by the child's sibling, parent or grandparent
17 Travel expenses for overnight class trips
18 Testing fees for advanced placement and college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT
19 Hardcover encyclopedias or reference materials
20 Diagnostic fees to determine what assistance the child needs
21 Fees paid for membership in an association (for example, YMCA, sports or health clubs, museums, zoos, home-based education accreditation associations)
22 Seminars for the parent
23 Fees or tuition for correspondence schools
24 Materials used for setting up a home school (for example, desks, whiteboards, demo kits, maps, globes)
25 Equipment that is normally provided by the school (for example, gym equipment, major shop equipment, kitchen appliances and the like)
