Where do I enter the amount erroniously deducted from me and paid to a reciprocal state on my non-resident tax return?

I lived in Ohio for all of 2025, but worked some hours in PA, which is a reciprocal state. I put $0 for my taxable income, but I don't see anywhere to put the amount my employer deducted from me that went to PA.

I'm not specifically familiar with the PA TT program.  But, the general rule is TT will pick that up from your W-2 (that you entered in the federal section) if PA is in box 15 and the withholding is in box 17.  There should also be an amount in box 16.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open to federal income
  2. Locate w2
  3. Scroll down to the state section.
  4. It should list each state
  5. income attributed to each state
  6. tax withheld for each state

For example:

OH income $60k tax $5k

PA income $10k tax $1k

Once you are in the nonresident state return, you indicate zero income.
