Where do I enter my 529 contributions to my IL return?

To enter your 529 contributions on your Illinois return, please follow the instructions below:

1. Open your state return.
2. Continue until you reach the page, Here's the income that Illinois handles differently.
3. Scroll down and click on Education.
4. Click Start next to College savings and prepaid tuition plan contributions.
5. Enter the account number and the contribution amount.
6. Continue through your return.
