1) IF you need to prepare and file K-1 forms using the D-407......I'm not sure TTX software can do that.
The D-407 for estates and trusts is no listed as a "potentially" available form in any of the state forms lists in the Desktop "Business" product. If you need a D-407, you may need to prepare it manually and mail it in.

2) For entering any K-1 forms that you received, that is available in the TTX personal products, but apparently there is a bug in the NC D-400 Schedule S that won't let you complete the state part (yet), even though most other areas on the Schedule S are available. Check again on Friday, as software updates usually occur on Wed or Thursday evenings.

What is the TurboTax phone number? (intuit.com)
Understood. The D-407 is already complete from another source and the associated K-1 is in my hand. Turbotax is trying to fabricate the state level K-1 from the federal return (as a D-407) and pass it through to the Schedule S which is, apparently, incomplete.
I owe money to everybody this year, so I'm in no rush, but I would like to have an availability date so I can get everything filed. This is what Turbotax can't provide at this point.
Well aware, of the newspaper article, thank you. NC has been pushing off filing season for weeks. It was late January, then mid-February and, now, this week (Feb. 28). I am holding my breath not!
After the state completes, Turbotax will need to complete their version of the forms, and that's the date I need/want.
