when filling out my w-2 info, box 15 is asking for the state, the state is Tennessee, but the app is not showing Tennessee as an option for me.

when clicking select a state, it skips over tennessee, going from south dekota to texas and its nowhere else in the list either.

That is because Tennessee doesn't have state income tax. You should leave Box 15 (state) blank, There's nothing you need to report in boxes 15 through 17, so make sure there are no zeros.  Boxes 15-17 should all be left empty, even if there is an amount in Box 16.

@chaibowers358 Then delete the W-2 and re-enter the W-2 manually.

There are now 8 states that do not tax their residents’ income: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. If your state is not listed in the W2 box 15 drop down list it doesn’t have an income tax.  Leave W2 boxes 15,16, & 17 BLANK, empty, no spaces.
