when does the senior tax credit ($6000) appear on standard deduction

Don't look for it on the line for the Std Ded  (line 12e of the form 1040)

Instead, it shows up on an entirely separate line as part-or ALL of line 13b

I was looking to seee where it was included bc I could only ee the standard deduction being considered.

On the online TT is shows up under "Tools" and there is a summary form showing it as a separate item on line 13.
