If there are dependent care benefits reported on line 10 of your W-2, you need to fill out the information for child care. The IRS requires Form 2441 if there are dependent care benefits reported on your W-2 or the benefits must be reported on your return as an addition to wages and salaries on line 7 of Form 1040.
The IRS kicked back my taxes because they said that the w2 income as shown on Line 7 of the 1040 didn't match my W2. However, looking at your post, it makes sense why- being that "DCB" was indicated on Line 7.
Also, I did incude the Form 2441 with my return, so I'm not clear why I'm being told there's a discrepancy.
Any ideas?

**It's not clear what the IRS is disallowing. For, example are they saying your DCB on line 7 does not qualify you for EIC?
