We filed 2017 MFJ both over 65 and claimed combined 15,200 standard deduction and 8,100 exemption, total 23,300. What will our total be for 2018?

For married taxpayers, the additional standard deduction amount for each person age 65 or over is $1300. It is $1600 for unmarried persons age 65 or over.

Exemptions have gone away.  Now you get an increase in the Standard Deduction.  For Joint the Standard Deduction is 24,000 plus1,300 each for over 65.
