We do not have a state tax so why is there a state fee?

I understand, for states like Florida, Texas and others you don't have to file a state return. So there is no reason to pay for it. To remove the state fee you will need to delete the state form, and after deleting the state, make sure when you are finishing you select the option to decline the state form if it prompts you again.
