Vermont will not be filing until a few weeks, do I need to submit on that day or will Turbo Tax do it for me?

All of my information is in Turbo Tax, it just says "incomplete" for VT State Taxes.

TurboTax will NOT automatically finish and file your state tax return.   YOU must return and file it when all  your state forms are available and your state is open for efiling.  You can review it before filing and make any changes in the State return if necessary (don't change the Federal return if it was filed.).

If you efiled the Federal return, it must be accepted before you can efile the state return.

When it's time to return and file the state return, here's how to get to it:

• Log in and go to the 2016 Tax Timeline.
• Scroll to "Some things  you can do."
• Choose "Add a State."   (you don't really add one; that's just to get the return to open up.)
• Then you can finish, review, and efile the State return.
