Last year I used 800 of my state tax refund for my 2025 state estimated taxes. Then I have paid 800 for 3 of the quarters. Somewhere it says I only paid 2400 for state taxes. So what worksheet do I look at to see if I was credited for all I have paid. Every year TT premier gets more difficult with stupid questions.
Can anyone help me? I do estimated state because we are retired and have fed taxes taken out but don't have state taxes taken out.

If you used TT last year, that should have happened automatically.
To verify, In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
Federal Taxes Tab (Personal for H&B version)
Deductions & Credits
-Scroll down to:
--Estimates & other taxes paid
-Other Income taxes
On the next screen, scroll down to:
-2024 Refund applied to 2025 Taxes
-2024 Refund applied to 2025 state Taxes
It will show up on line 6 of the Tax Payments Worksheet as Overpayments applied to 2025.

Where does it say that? When did you pay the 4th qtr estimate? Was it in January 2026? You might only be seeing the payments that go to federal schedule A as an itemized deduction. Those are just the payments you actually paid in 2025. So the refund applied and the June & Sept estimates. You will get credit for all the payments on your state return.
I actually paid my 4th quarter in December. I am always afraid I will forget about in January.
Thank you! I will check this out. I was looking for the worksheets but wasn't successful at finding it before.
Thank you for your help ! I was finally able to find the refund applied and to correct multiple other things. Now I am all done for another year. 😥.
