Unable to e-file OH before filing Federal w/Turbo Tax Deluxe

OH has just changed their filing deadline to align with Federal of 7/15/2020.  When will Intuit update Turbo Tax Deluxe to allow for separation of filings for state/fed within the state of OH?  The option is there but it still doesn't allow OH only to be submitted.  When I check to not e-file federal, just e-file OH, then move to the next screen that's when it prompts saying that's not allowed.  I have a state refund due but must pay on Federal so I'm anxious to get the OH state filed now.  Please advise.

You won't be able to e-file your OH return by itself before filing the federal return.  Because of the number of fraudulent state returns submitted in the past, filing the state return by itself is only allowed once a federal return has been accepted.

.Follow these steps to e-file your state return once the federal return has been accepted: 

1. Sign back in to your TurboTax account.  You will be on your Tax Home screen.
2. Scroll down to the 2019 menu towards the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on the Add a State box at the bottom of the screen.   [Don't worry, we're not really adding a state, this is just a way to re-enter your return since the federal return has been filed and accepted.]
4. If you not completed your state return, click on the State Taxes tab.  If you have completed your state return, click on the File tab and go through the prompts to file your state return.
