After my federal return transmitted, I paid the $25 to transmit my state return. Buth then TurboTax would not let me transmit the state return because it said there was an error (no error had been found when I had previously done a review). I corrected the error and tried again to transmit the state return. TurboTax acknowledged I have already transmitted my Federal return and only gave me the option to transmit the State return, but when I click on that, the next screen says it can't transmit my state return until I "select" my federal return, but there was no place to select it in the previous screen because it said I had already transmitted my federal return. I've contacted TurboTax support, but they want to get on my computer and I won't allow it. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Why am I not able to e-file my state return after ...
Thank you. Perhaps you could bring up at a staff meeting that customers shouldn't be charged to file their state returns until immediately before they click the transmit button. Charging customers for a service that is then not provided is not a good way to do business.
