TurboTax did not deduct my SSA income from my AGI on my Kansas State taxes, which caused me to owe a significant amount. Is that correct?

It's correct if your federal AGI is more than $75,000.  On a Kansas return, Social Security benefits are subtracted only for those with a federal AGI of $75,000 or less. (2018)

**Answers are correct to the best of my ability but do not constitute tax or legal advice.

My AGI was $75,018. I have no debt, so I cannot beat the standard deduction for head of household to lower my AGI. Gott love it! GRRRRR!!!!
