I lived part year in Virginia, part year in DC. Does turbo tax compute state returns for both VA and DC? Or do I have to do one of them by hand?

TurboTax can help you do part returns for DC and Virginia.

Just answer first the questions in the Personal Information section with dates in each location and then when the Federal is finished it will start the states (and DC).

Start with the State you lived in first, it seems to help in not confusing it (for me anyway) when you are entering income for each state (or district).
