Trying to determine error on Idaho State Tax Form for my son who is in the military.

I think it was because he had too long of an address (military) and then a box checked stating that he should not check the box if he is filing Form 40.  I am not sure why he has to pay $150 in Idaho state taxes if he is active duty military.

Idaho taxes the military income of its residents, same as the federal return does - it isn't exempt in Idaho.
