Total Local Tax withholding mismatch between federal and state tax

Hi,

I'm having an issue with my state return form in turbo tax. When autopulating my state form (IN) it is only pulling over 3 of our 4 Local Tax Withholding lines from our Federal return/W2s. Does anyone know how to edit the IN-W form directly so I can add the 4th line item onto it?

I've deleted the state return and repopulated it without any help. I've also verified my W2 in my federal return matches my W2s.

Thanks,

Mat

In both the Desktop and Online versions of TurboTax, you can click "Add another locality" and add several lines to the Local tax section of Form W-2.

If you entered all of the lines you needed in the W-2 section of the Federal return, and the Indiana return will only pull over 3 lines:

As long as the city and locality name matches, you can combine the amounts that match in the W-2 section. But, make sure to enter all other localities separately for the ones that don't match.

In addition, when you are in the Indiana state interview, you are asked additional questions about your income for calculating local county taxes. Review the state interview (after making changes to your W-2 in the Federal section if applicable, and running Federal review) to see if your interview questions and answers change.
