See this TurboTax support FAQ for deleting a state return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-delete-my-state-return-in-turbotax-on...
What happens if my tax return is already submitted? Would i be better off just mailing it in anyways? Even though florida doesn’t have a state tax? Or should i just assume the IRS knows that seeing as my return has already been accepted.

The IRS does not care if you file a state tax return or not. They are only concerned with federal tax returns. Just do not mail the Florida return if it is not needed.
Okay awesome. Just don’t wanna get in any trouble. I appreciate the help.
