T-Tax is showing my required minimum distribution as a W2 entry. I am retired. I am not employed. I don't get W2 tax forms. I get 1099R forms. Why does the 2021 T-Tax show the RMD amount as W2 wages?

Your suggestions didn't work. T-Tax still shows my RMD amounts as W2 wages in the AL State forms. Page 2 of AL forms should show taxable amounts in line 4b and 5b. Those lines are blank.
My program has the 1099-R showing where they should in part 1, lines 4 and 5.There are no known issues and no investigations open. Please review your income entries in the federal income section.
I would ask for a copy of your return, but since my program puts it in the right place, that would not help. You may need to contact cx support. First, review the income section and see if something got switched in there. You might want to try some technical things. You may have the 1099 stuck in the w2 position due to cookies or your AL may be holding something odd. Try the following steps first with either 1099-R or AL state, or both
