State Taxes

Hi. I have two questions.

1. When I get to the section of SC taxes. I am told the forms are not available. Is there something wrong with the disk or are the forms not avaiable? I have tried this program on my PC and MAC computer.

2. The program does not allow me to save on my MAC computer. I receive this message: "not authorized to save"

I have two questions:

1. My state SC taxes states the forms are unable.

2. I cannot save the files. It states: I am unauthorized.

You can check when the forms for your state SC will be available here. The "Review" screen tells you which forms that are holding you back, an estimation of when they may be ready and the option to get an email alert.

To save your file, first be sure your program is up to date. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.

If still no luck, please see the helpful information below to save your files:

• Go to the apple icon at the tool bar, system preferences, security and privacy
• Next go to the privacy tab, select the folder "full disk access" (unlock lock at the bottom with your password)
• Select turbo tax from the right hand side.
• Once you assign any specific user the read and write option, you will have a full disk access to Turbo Tax and would be able to save your Turbo Tax return to a directory.
