State Tax Return, Do Multiple Returns

I am doing a second tax return, having already purchased the state I need (for the first return). When I start the state portion, it wants me to purchase the state return again. In years past, I have only purchased the state portion one time and have done multiple returns. Do I need to purchase the same state again? Is there a work around or fix?
