State Income tax with spouse in a different state

Hello

I live and work in Texas but my spouse is in Kentucky and we have properties in Kentucky. Do I have to file KY state income tax for myself or just have to file for my spouse?

Thank you.

No. You don't need to file KY return for yourself.

You can file joint Federal return and separate KY return. Kentucky does not require you to use the same filing status as your federal return.
