state filing fee discount not showing up

When I was about to file my federal taxes it asked me one last time to file my state taxes with it for only $24.99, but I needed to go back and fill out the state forms. When I go back to do that it keeps saying it's $44.99 to do my state taxes. How do i know i will get the discounted rate instead of the higher amount?

What version do you have? Basic does not come with a state program. You have to buy a state program first in addition to the 24.99 state efile fee. Or if you are trying to efile state, watch what you click on. If you want to have the 24.99 deducted from your federal refund there is a 44.99 service charge. So go though the FILE tab again slowly and watch what you click on.
