SPT- resident/non resident

First came to US in Aug 2012 on F1.
H1B started October 1, 2016. I was out of USA from Feb 19,2017 to March 13,2017. Returned and still in USA since March 13 2017.
Do I file as a tax resident for 2017?

Yes, as you meet the Substantial Presence Test SPT during 2017, you are considered as a US resident for tax purposes.  You will be filing a Form 1040 reports worldwide income.
