When you are ready to efile I would email him a pdf of the return to look over prior to e-filing it, as you are both jointly responsible for what is on it.

Sure.  He can tell you his info if you don't have it.  If you are using the Online version you can give him the log in info and he can log in to view it or add his stuff.  But you can enter everything for both of you.
